A few time ago Demba offered you the opportunity to ask him some questions. So you will find below the questions that were asked followed by the answers. Good reading

1 / Hello Demba what do you thinks about of the Senegal's national team future?
I think this team to a great future ahead of her. Senegal has many young talented players and can build a bright future and win a lot of titles. It is very important to us that the Senegalese are proud of their National Team again.

2 / which teams are you dreaming to play?
There are several teams where I'd like to play, but there are mainly three of them that make me dream:
- Bayern Munich
- Chelsea
- Arsenal

3 / Demba, what about your knee injury?
It is much better. The rehabilitation is going well for now. I have no pain, but I will know a bit more once I would be able to run again.

4 / what does Hoffenheim need to hang the top three?
I think we have a good team and with a little more experience and consistency we could snag the top spots.

5 / would you like to come back and play in France?
Of course yes. I follow the French league closely. I have my favourites teams and I have some friends who play in France. I won't deny that I would be happy to play in France one day.

6 / you're still young, but do you have an idea of what you'd like to do after your career?
It is true that I am still young, and to be honest, I have absolutely no idea ... Right now I focus on my career but I think more and more often at the after career.

7 / what do you think about the fans of Hoffenheim?
Very faithful ... Since I'm here they have always been behind us. Whether we win or lose they support us constantly.

8 / what are your hobbies?
I love sports even during my holidays or my days off I stay active. I love basketball and I love to play at the game of darts. My family and friends are also very important. I try to spend as much time as I can with them.

9 / Can you tell what your day "look like" when you have practice?
My days are very simple. I leave in the morning around 9am and I train about 2 times a day. I come back at home around 6pm. I relax and I enjoy beating my brothers and friends at darts. I watch games or movies or TV shows.

10 / How often do you lift weight by week?
1 hour, 2 maximum. I'm not really a big fan of the lifting room.

11 / what would you like to win with the Senegal team and Hoffenheim?
I wish I could bring the African Cup at home! I would be very proud to be able to offer this cup to Senegal. I would also like to win the title of "Deutsch meister" with Hoffenheim. That would be my way to thank the club and all its fans.

12 / what do you think about your teammates in the national team?
I think there are some very good players with amazing qualities, both humanly and sportively.

13 / Do you think we have a chance to win the African Cup trophy that we desire so much?
Sure. As matter of fact I wish that we’d win at the next competition

14 / Demba, what African team can win the World Cup 2010?
I really want an African team to win it. I hope a team like the Ivory Coast will seek it.

Did you meet Avram Grant before signing for West Ham or were you surprised that he was still there?
Spurs also think you are a good player. Would you play for them one day?

How do you see the chances of the Senegalese national team in the African Cup of Nations looking at the threat from countries like Ivory Coast and Ghana?

Do you envisage playing for Man Utd given that Ferguson do not seem(stand to be corrected) to fancy African players?

Comment by geordie boii | 2012-01-22

Hi Demba
I think that when you do finish the African nations, you and Cissé will be an ultimate strike force!
My questions are:
1) Do you think that you and Cissé will be a good pair in the Premier League?
2) Who are your most feared defenders in the Premier League?
3) Why is the squad number 19 so special to you?

from your fan
Aaron
